With decades of experience in writing codes and standards for the California Energy Commission, AEC has the depth and breadth of expertise to offer exceptional CALGreen Consulting services to our clients.

AEC works with building owners and design teams throughout the building process to clarify and assist clients with code compliance and reporting requirements. We assist design teams in administering green building code compliance through both documentation and consultations with governing agencies.

As of January 1st, 2011, all new construction projects and the first tenant improvement of a Core and Shell projects applying for a building permit in the State of California must meet the California Green Building Code (CALGreen) mandatory requirements as set forth in the California Building Standards Code, Title 24, Part 11, as well as any voluntary requirements required by local jurisdiction.
